Asuna (real name Asuna Yuuki) is the main female protagonist of the anime and light novel series, Sword Art Online. Aside from being the second in command of the Knights of the Blood Oath, the strongest guild in Aincrad, she is also the adoptive mother of Yui and the love interest of Kirito.

Kirito (Real name Kirigaya Kazuto) is the main protagonist of the anime series Sword Art Online, based on the popular light novel series. Kirito was chosen to be one of the one thousand beta testers for the closed beta of Sword Art Online, the first ever Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG) for the NerveGear, and later joined the official version of the game.
