These are the noodles that started a global sensation. The original Samyang Buldak Hot Chicken Ramen is known from countless "Fire Noodle Challenge" videos for its intense, yet addictive, heat.

This is a stir-fry type of ramen (without soup) where thick, chewy noodles are mixed in a dark red "fire chicken" sauce ( buldak ). Beneath the fiery intensity lies a deep and flavorful chicken base that makes it more than just a test of strength.

Easy Preparation:

  1. Boil the noodles in 600ml of water for 5 minutes.

  2. Pour off almost all the water, but leave about 8 tablespoons (120ml) remaining.

  3. Add the sauce and stir well over low heat for 30 seconds.

  4. Add the flakes, mix and serve. For a milder experience, try topping with cheese or a fried egg.
